Brooks and Dunn’s video Play Something Country, is based on the song from their album titled Hillbilly Deluxe which was released in August, 2005.
The song reached the number one position on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, and became the duo’s 20th number one hit.
The same week that Play Something Country became a number one hit, the album Hillbilly Deluxe reached number one as well, September 17, 2005.
