Blue Christmas in the video below by Elvis Presley was from his 1968 “comeback” tour. From what I found, the song was originally from his Elvis Christmas Album, which he released in November, 1957. The video below features Martina McBride singing in a duet with him.
What? Wait a second. That’s what I said when I came across this video as I was searching for Christmas videos to post this season.
Just a few days ago I posted here: Martina McBride – Blessed, that Martina was about a year younger than I am, and now I come across this video. It just didn’t add up. Either Martina McBride is older than I thought, the video was edited and spliced together or I’m older than I thought I was!
Maybe it was just kinda early in the morning and my vision was still blurry. Nope. This was a video edited and spliced, and then released in late 2008. You can pick up the album that features this song along with other great Christmas songs here: NOW That’s What I Call A Country Christmas. This album was just released in October, 2009. Check out the other songs on it also, there’s a bunch more you’ll probably like as well.
