George Strait’s album Twang was released in August, 2009 and shortly thereafter was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Country Album.
The album hit the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 and Top Country Albums charts shortly after it’s release. It became his 23rd album to hit #1 of the Top Country Albums chart, giving him the record for the most #1′s on this charts history.
