Eight Second Ride by Jake Owen is from his second album titled Easy Does It, which was released in February, 2009.

Going back a few years, this song was actually on his debut album titled Startin’ With Me, which was released in July, 2006. So the inclusion of this song on his second album is actually a re-release for this particular song.

I noticed the song recently among the Top Songs on iTunes and the video has been on CMT’s Top 20 Countdown for the last 2 weeks at the number 19 spot.
