I first heard Josh Thompson’s song Beer on the Table a few weeks ago while I was driving down the road with my family. At the time, I didn’t realize it was just released September 18, 2009, nor that it was his first country music single and video released.
As usual when I like a song, I turned up the radio and started getting into the music, trying to sing along as best I can. My family then starts shaking their head like I’m a bit crazy. I can’t help it though, I love music, all types of music.
Anyway, this video is pretty darn cool. It’s about the balance in life between work and play, and how money earned from working ties them both together. I liked the rhythm of song and the chorus line in particular.
His upcoming album is titled Way Out Here, and features 10 songs written or co-written by Josh- be on the lookout for it.
