Miranda Lambert performing Only Prettier is today’s YouTube addition to Top Country Music Videos.
Only Prettier is the second track from her album titled Revolution, which was released in September, 2009.
During the week that just ended, the music video was in 6th place on CMT’s Top 20 Countdown, holding on to the same position from the previous week.
“Only Prettier” is delightful. It’s pure fun. Miranda and her friends and the band obviously enjoyed making the video. Every time I hear the refrain (“So let’s shake hands and reach across those party lines . . .”, etc.), I imagine Sarah Palin singing it to Nancy Pelosi or vice- versa.
