Clorox has issued a recall on select Pine-Sol products due to the possible presence of harmful bacteria, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. The recalled products may include the bacteria called Pseudomonas aeruginosa, which poses a particular risk to those with weakened immune systems as it can cause serious infections in the blood and lungs.

The recalled products are as follows:

• Pine-Sol Scented Multi-Surface Cleaner in Lavender Clean, Sparkling Wave and Lemon Fresh scents
• CloroxPro Pine-Sol All Purpose Cleaners in Lavender Clean, Sparkling Wave, Lemon Fresh and Orange Energy scents
• Clorox Professional Pine-Sol Lemon Fresh Cleaners

The recall is in effect for the aforementioned products produced between January 2021 and September 2022. The production code of your Pine-Sol cleaner can be found on the bottle. A full list of codes and dates of recalled products, as well as reimbursement information, can be found on Pine-Sol’s recall site.
