Get ready to dance the night away at Music on Main, featuring the Asheville-based group Emporium playing a variety of hits from classic rock, disco and funk to beach music.
Emporium will take the stage at the Visitor Center on Friday, Aug. 13. The band has been playing since the early 80’s when the Travis brothers – Ray, Rick, and David – formed the band. Tracie Esposito, Tim Hawkins and Barry Bryson round out the group.
The Classic Cruise-In will showcase a variety of vintage and antique automobiles. The car owners take pride in preserving and restoring the history of these classic cars.
The car show will be located between Barnwell and Caswell Streets, which will be closed to traffic.

Bring a chair and sit back, relax and enjoy the music from 7-9 p.m. The seating area opens after 5:30 p.m.; early admission is strictly prohibited. Alcoholic beverages, backpacks, and coolers are not allowed. Admission is free.
In case of inclement weather, the concert will be postponed to 8 p.m.; if the weather does not improve, the concert will be canceled.
