Locavore Marketplace Saturday

Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Vines & Rushes Winery is hosting the Locavore Marketplace.

The items being sold include, but not limited to, honey, eggs, frozen bison meat, baked goods, fresh and canned fruits and vegetables, granola and coffee.

Those participating in this event include: Olive Juice Farms Canning and handmade goods, Mugs Coffeehouse, 4M Bison Farm, Granola for Good, Polish Ponderosa, Schoolhouse Bee goods and Purple Thumb Lavender.

“Thank you to everyone who stopped by our prior Marketplaces to support our local producers,” the winery said on its website. “In addition to enjoying the products from the vendors, enjoy some Vines & Rushes Winery wine or Knuth Brewing Company craft beer, and enjoy a made to order wood fired pizza. Ingredients for these items are grown and produced locally.”

Live music at Vines & Rushes Friday and Saturday

Friday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Vines & Rushes Winery is hosting live music by Ben Harold, an American singer-songwriter, musician, and multi-instrumentalist.

Harold combines roots, rock, and soul elements to create a sound that draws people into his soulfully sung music.

“Grab your favorite glass of wine, Sprecher Root Beer or Knuth Brewing Company craft beer on tap,” the winery says.

Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. Vines & Rushes Winery is hosting live music by Sarah Day, who will perform a variety of acoustic music with roots in country, classic rock, and folk.

“Influenced by female powerhouses including Stevie Nicks and Patsy Cline, Sarah brings soulful vocals and a fresh twist to classic tunes,” the winery says. “Select your favorite wine, cider, or Knuth Brewing Company craft beer, custom order a wood fired pizza, and sit back and enjoy the music.”

The Spring Market at Town Square

Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon, Town Square will host its spring farmers market in Green Lake.

The Spring Market at Town Square is an indoor event every Saturday and features fresh-off-the-farm food and handmade items.

“Social-distance and enjoy the delights as local growers and artisans will show off their wares that you and your family will love,” Town Square said.

Bowl for Kids Sake

From Friday to Sunday, Parkway Bowling Lanes in Fond du Lac is hosting the “Bowl for Kids Sake” event.

“From The Greatest Show On Earth to Cirque du Soleil, the fun and excitement of the circus has brought joy to children and adults alike,” the Ripon Chamber of Commerce website says of the event. “In March of 2021 Big Brothers Big Sisters will be bringing the fun ‘Under The Big Top’ to our annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake event.”
